Twenty-five-year truck industry veteran, Kate Miller is President and Group Publisher of Newport Communications Group, Publisher of Heavy Duty Trucking, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Journal and the new RoadStar magazines, as well as Truckinginfo.com web site, Newport's custom publishing services and Poster Network Diesel Pump Toppers. Miller received the Automotive Aftermarket Education award in 2009 from Northwood University, and HDT won ABM’s Grand Neal award, an honor garnered under Miller’s leadership as publisher. Prior to joining Newport Communications, she was President of Blue Edge Marketing, Ltd., a full-service marketing communications and public relations firm serving clients in the commercial vehicle and construction industries. Miller serves on Trucker Buddy Board, LA Regional Governor for American Business Media, Member of HDAW Promotion Committee, Image Committee Member for ATA, Member ATA's TMC, Member and Image Subcommittee Member of TCA, Truck Dealer of the Year award administrator for American Truck Dealers and past Electronics Board Chair Society of Automotive Engineers. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of Equipment Today and Technical Editor for OEM Off-Highway magazines at Cygnus Publishing, covering both the truck and construction markets. Miller previously led the training effort for Caterpillar’s truck and marine engine lines, and engine lines at Ford Motor Co.’s Dearborn Engine and Gas Tank Division.
Stanford joined Newport in 1985, first with poster advertising in truckstops and a truckstop publication, then serving 11 years as Publisher of NATSO Truckers News. A nationally recognized authority on the travel plaza industry, he is personally familiar with hundreds of truckstops/travel plaza locations and continues to serve on industry boards and foundations.
Brunelli began his career as a regional manager with Engler Instruments in Jersey City, N.J., moving up to National OEM Manager and later Heavy Duty Sales Manager. Following Engler's acquisition by Stemco Inc., he served in a variety of managerial positions for Stemco Instruments. He then moved from the supplier side of the truck market into publishing, representing several commercial transportation publications. This allowed him to put his knowledge of fleets, distribution channels, production and aftermarket programs to work for his clients. He attended Rutgers University and has been active in numerous industry organizations including American Trucking Assns., National Private Truck Council, Council of Fleet Specialists and Society of Automotive Engineers.
Madden has specialized in business-to-business marketing for more than 22 years, including eight years representing Newport Communications in the Southeast and Southwest regions from offices in Atlanta. After earning a B.S. in Finance at Florida State University, he became a Program Administrator with Lockheed Martin. Three years later he became a Senior Cost Analyst in Rockwell International's Atlanta offices, then took an ad sales position with the Society of Automotive Engineers, representing Automotive Engineering and Aerospace Engineering magazines in the Southeast. His eight-year service with Newport followed. Madden relocated to the Northwest nine years ago, and has represented the leading publications in the aerospace and construction markets in the West since then.
Justin Miller has joined Newport as the Northeast Region Manager, overseeing the region from Ohio east to New Jersey and north to Ontario. Justin was previously an account manager for a Chicago-area advertising agency and had been a sales contractor for Ridgeview Builders, a Chicago-area commercial construction company.
